Commissioned by the Uganda High Commission in Pretoria, I coordinated a team of seven South African content creators to travel to Uganda to work with: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife & Antiquities, Uganda Tourism Board and the Uganda Wildlife Authority. The trip was orientated around the Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon where the content team would be promoting the marathon to their massive audiences back home.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Our first stop was the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, UNESCO site and home to over half the worlds population of the endangered mountain gorilla, about 400 individuals.

I warmly commend Mr. Tyron Dolloway for his outstanding work in coordinating our recent tourism familiarisation trip. Tyron expertly identified and recruited top-tier participants, managed photography throughout the trip, and coordinated media and content generation with professionalism, resilience, and creativity. His dedication and attention to detail significantly contributed to the trip’s success and to promoting Uganda’s tourism offerings in Southern Africa. I highly recommend Tyron for any media, marketing, or events role where reliability and excellence matter."

Dokolo Cultural Visit
We then visited the Dokolo village and spent time learning about the historic importance of the area and the community lead progams in place to develop the cultural sites into viable tourism hubs.
Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon
The main event of our trip, The Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon lead us to the town of Kasese. The only marathon in the world where runners get to run through a National Park and get to cross the equator.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
We were treated to an amazing few days in Queen Elizebeth National Park, where we shot some of the activities and used the time to prepare for the marathon.
